M/M Lasater spend an extra night in Sydney.

M/M Hildebrand depart on a flight to the town of Alice Springs. On arrival make your way to your hotel.

Learn to throw a boomerang, how to make damper (bush bread), enjoy a bush sunset and join in a sing along of Old Aussie Bush Ballads in the atmosphere of an early Cattle Camp setting. Enjoy a memorable meal featuring the taste of real Central Australian Beef cooked to perfection. All refreshments are provided. A Pleasant and relaxing evening around the campfire and under the stars with your host explaining the Aboriginal way of life and the way they lived and survived. This is a night that genuinely reflects the famous outback hospitality.

SUN DEC 21 ABORIGINAL DREAMTIME AND BUSHTUCKER TOUR

This morning visit the Aboriginal bush campsite, out of Alice Springs and learn of the wonders and mysteries of a fascinating and unique culture. You will see Boomerang throwing by one of the Aboriginal men and learn of their traditional hunting techniques. Try some Bush Tucker including the infamous Witchetty Grub and learn of the peoples bush survival skills. Photograph a fully decorated "Central Australian Corroboree" performed by members of the Walpiri Tribe. You may purchase art and craftwork directly from the artist. While you are enjoying morning tea, you will learn about the people's "Skin System", their spiritual beliefs and understanding of reproduction.

MON DEC 22 FULL DAY MICHAELMAS CAY (OCEAN SPIRIT) (L)

Welcome aboard the five star, personalized service of the Award winning Ocean Spirit, the world's largest sailing catamaran in her class. You are assured of smooth sailing luxury beneath 6,000 square feet of sail. Your destination is the unique wilderness of Michaelmas Cay on the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Known as the 'lsle of Birds', the sand cay is a recognized sanctuary for over 28,000 migratory sea-birds of 14 species. Rich in exotic marine life, magnificent coral and giant clam gardens, this reef abounds with a myriad of tropical fish for you to discover. A delicious smorgasbord lunch is included. Enjoy swimming, snorkeling and a trip over the coral in a semi-submersible.

TUE DEC 23 TUSA FULL DAY DIVE TRIP (3 PAX) (L)

A courtesy coach will transfer you to the Tusa, which takes a maximum of 25 divers. Tusa Dive will take you to 2 sites, with one tank dive at each site. The sites are selected as the day's best from Tusa's 21 Outer Reef dive locations. The MV Tusa II and III are custom built, dedicated dive vessels. There will be 5 hours on the reef to dive, snorkel or relax. Morning tea and a buffet lunch are included.

WED DEC 24 KURANDA ALL INCLUSIVE (L)

We will collect you from your accommodation and take you to the Railway Station. Here you will meet with your hostess for the day and she will run through the day's schedule. Once aboard the train, sit back and enjoy the spectacular views as you journey through 15 hand cut tunnels and pact spectacular waterfalls.

Once in Kuranda you will be taken on a guided tour of The Australian Butterfly Sanctuary, its myriad of colorful creatures. Following this you have a short amount of time (45 minutes) to do some of your own exploring; check out the local markets or if you're feeling daring, try a Bungy Jump.

You need to meet your hostess at the Skyrail. Be amazed as you glide silently above the rainforest canopy on the World's Most Beautiful Rainforest Experience. There are two en route stations where you can alight and enjoy a walk through the rainforest to spectacular lookouts or check out the CSIRO interpretative center at Barron Falls station. This journey ends at Caravonica Lakes, the day is not yet over! We have arranged an extravagant buffet lunch for you at the Boomerang Restaurant, followed by entry to the Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural park, with its stage shows, theaters, craft demonstrations and Aboriginal Village to mention but a few of the attractions. You can even try some 'bush tucker' . Your hostess will meet you at the entrance at 4:10 p.m. for your return hotel transfers.

Note: Mrs. Lasater's round trip train is prepaid, but entrance fees to Butterfly sanctuary and lunch are not. You must also make your own way to/from rail station by taxi.

THU DEC 25 CAIRNS - SYDNEY

Make your own way to the airport. Depart on a flight to Sydney. On arrival in Sydney make your way to your hotel.

FRI DEC 26 COFFEE CRUISE

This morning, enjoy a leisurely 2.5 hour cruise taking you right around Sydney Harbor and deep into the reaches of beautiful Middle Harbor. You will see the Sydney Opera House, the famous Harbor Bridge, harbor side beaches and some of Sydney's beautiful waterfront homes. Refreshments will be served during your cruise.

SAT DEC 27 BLUE MOUNTAINS DISCOVERY ECO TOUR (L)

Depart your hotel at 8:30 a.m. for a wonderful day of sightseeing in the Blue Mountains. See Wentworth Falls village and Leura before visiting the famous Three Sisters at Katoomba. Continue onto the highest point in the mountains, the pioneer village of Mt. Victoria. Experience 4 Wheel Drive sightseeing, visit the remote Kanimbla Valley lookout. Hear Aboriginal stories and see Mt. Victoria's Hotel Imperial - a classic 1860's Aussie Pub. Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch deep in the Megalong Valley where farming and horseriding are the main activities. After lunch visit our own 'grand canyon'. The views from Govett's Leap, overlooking the Grose Valley seem to stretch forever. A short bushwalk, for those with the desire, rewards with unsurpassed views. Returning to Sydney, travel via the Blue Mountains National Park. We'll find wild Kangaroos and maybe some baby Joey's. Try a boomerang throw and watch out for noisy cockatoos. Also, visit Sydney's wildlife park to view and pat the Koalas. Around 6 p.m., return to your hotel.

SUN DEC 28 SYDNEY - CHRISTCHURCH

Make your own way to the airport. Depart on Qantas Airways for Christchurch, New Zealand. On arrival you will be transferred to your first night pre-booked accommodation.

This morning a Thrifty Mitsubishi or Magna automatic station wagon will be delivered to your hotel. Remainder of the day is at leisure.

We then continue on to the Alpine resort of Queenstown via the Lindis pass.

WED DEC 31 TRIPLE CHALLANGE (3 PAX ONLY)

A real adrenaline rush! You get the lot with full on, fast pace, non stop action. Take off with a white knuckle, roller coaster, Helicopter ride. Land next to the river and board your Jetboat. Experience the maneuverability of these amazing craft among the rock cliffs and shallows plus their exhilarating speed as you run the rapids. The final leg is an adrenaline pumping raft trip down the mighty Kawarau River, feel the fury of the rapids on Queenstown's highest water volume river. Finish the adventure with a hot, relaxing sauna and shower. We supply all other necessary equipment and a courtesy mini coach as transport. Bring a wind breaker for the Jetboat ride for comfort.

THU JAN 01 QUEENSTOWN - MILFORD SOUND - TE ANAU

Drive 5 hours to Milford Sound. Leave at 7:00 a.m. The magnificent Fiordland National Park. Drive through steep-sided mountain valleys and age-old beech forests to the rough hewn Homer Tunnel, then descend sharply to sea level at Milford Sound.

When you see the loveliness of Milford Sound you will know why we've kept an entire day free to enjoy it. Walled by massive peaks rising sheer from the still, clear waters, its secret valleys and waterfalls are on today's launch cruise. As you catch your first glimpse of Mitre Peak rearing steeply out of the still waters, you will realize that even travel brochures cannot do justice to the beauty of Milford Sound. Today's launch cruise lets you experience at close quarters the drama of Milford's stupendous peaks. Afterwards drive to Te Anau, a 2 hour and 20 minute drive.

Drop your car off at the airport. Depart on Air New Zealand at 12:10 p.m. arriving in Wellington at 2:10 p.m. Connect on Air New Zealand leaving at 5:10 p.m. arriving Rotorua at 6:20 p.m. On arrival pick up another car and drive to your accommodation.

SUN JAN 04 ROTORUA DAY AT LEISURE

In Rotorua you may wish to take a tour or visit Rainbow farms and Rainbow Trout Springs where native birds and animals can be seen in natural bush settings. A worthwhile visit would be to Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve, where boiling waters abound, or the carvers and weavers as your guide shares with you the existence of the Maori in the 1800's and today's society.
