OK, this is a REALLY QUICK update, but better than the nothing I have
been sending of late!
First of all, check out the new Harte-Hanks website when you get a
chance! It's actually still being updated, but you'll get the idea.
"Aye, quite a change from the old place!"

Now the non-work stuff:
I just got back from a ski trip to Breckenridge, CO. Six of us drove
up there, while the wealthy Motorolans in our group flew (four of
them.) The morning of the first day, Lisa and her friend Mike drove
over from Boulder so we had a total of twelve people in the 'ol condo.
(Our first official act was to make good use of the "maximum occupancy"
notice by starting a fire in the fireplace.)
On night one my roommate Jason was still feeling spunky and so he was
happy to whip up a Lasagna for us. He even did a veggie version for
his girlfriend, Robin. Truly great work! He also managed to produce
breakfast burritos for all of us the next morning, but after the first
full day of skiing we never saw him in the kitchen again. Luckily
there were plenty of cool restaurants around the little town and so we
were set.
We had quite a mixture of skill levels, but managed to break up into
groups such that no one had to be alone. David, one of the Motorolans
and the best skiier amoung us, got me up on the top of peak 8 where
the moguls were fierce and the powder thick. I lived. Actually, I
really got into it and had a hard time doing easier slopes. By the
end of the day, I was doing as many double dimonds slopes as I could
before the lift stopped. Sady, I have a long wait until I can
practice again!
On the ride home the CBs between the two cars were put to good use in
a fearsome chess battle. It's not every day that a trucker hears,
"Queen to Knight five" followed by static and a loud, "Roger that."
We kept waiting for someone on the road to jump in with, "no, no!
It's a trap!"
OK, I said it would be short. I'll try to keep 'um comin' in the
future. Make sure y'all keep sending me updates as well. I know
someone out there has more of a life than me!
Love and checkered boards,
Kai
P.S.
Who's going to Burning Man with me?! (Follow these for details.)
