OK, I'm staying really busy but I have so many stories to tell!  I
have to get this out before they all go completely stale.  Behold: the
shortest "Life of Kai" message ever!

I went to Paris.  It was neat.  Lots of old stuff.  Very inspired by
artwork scanned briefly by too many indifferent tourists who nodded
and hummed and moved on.

I went to Vegas (paid for by my goodly bosses at pcOrder as a reward
for a project that was finished before I arrived) and had fun; even
came home $30 up after buying food, paying for cabs, and playing
virtual reality video games.  What a nutty place.  Very bright.

One day it was cold and rainy outside so I decided not to go to work
right away.  I stayed home and shaved my head instead.  When I arrived
at work bald I told everyone that it involved, "alcohol and fire" and
let them dream up a good story.  (Well, ok, I had a beer the night
before and there was a fire in the fireplace at my friend's place
where the mowing occurred.)

Lots and lots 'o work lately.  Actually, I am writing this from my
desk.  We just wandered upstairs and grabbed a few chilly Guinnei for
a few more hours worth of work.

Went to the most rockin' drum jam of all time.  "International Drum
Fest" in an (ohh, ahhh the "other side") east Austin club.  Way, way
cool.  Some incredible Middle Eastern, Cuban, Native American and of
course African drummers.  I'm already signed up for a class at U.T.:
Percussions of the East.  Now to find a cool drum...

Much, much more to say (as you all know, I NEVER run out of things to
blather on about) and many more stories to tell but I need to get this
quick message out so y'all will feel guilty and tell me what is up!

postcards and pictures of yourselves doing foolish things!) here is my
